The choice of the Go-Barry stemmed from the desire to increase employee safety, partly as a result of an earlier incident in which an arrow truck was hit on this project. Holland Scherm was responsible for erecting a noise barrier of approximately 130 metres. To carry out this work safely, the Go-Barry was deployed as a mobile barrier.<\/p>\n<p>The Go-Barry was deployed for five weeks, from 18 August to 19 September 2025, during night work from Monday to Thursday. During this period, the barrier was repeatedly converted from the emergency lane to lane R2, allowing traffic to pass through R1. Here, the Go-Barry was deployed in a lane + emergency lane barrier. The Go-Barry was applied over a length of 163 metres, fitted with visibility screens and temporary hectometre signs. These additions reduced distractions for both road users and road workers on the one hand, and provided clarity in case of breakdowns on the other. This was the first project to combine both innovations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-image
